1. Definitions

“Finnovate” or “we” refers to Finnovate Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors.

“User”, “Doctor”, “you” refers to any person who registers and uses our Services.

“Registered User” means a doctor who has completed the sign-up process and has an active account with us.

“Services” include educational content (courses, videos, podcasts, newsletters, etc.) designed to assist doctors with personal finance planning and management.

“Doctor Registration Number” refers to the official medical registration number provided by the relevant state medical council.

“State Medical Council” refers to the governing body in the doctor’s respective state that registers medical professionals in India.

2. Eligibility — Doctors Only

The Website is strictly for practising medical professionals (“Doctors”). By registering, you represent and warrant that:

• You hold a valid medical licence issued by a State Medical Council and recorded with the National Medical Commission (NMC),
• The details you submit are complete, true, and up-to-date.

Licence Verification:

• At sign-up, you must provide your Doctor Registration Number and select your State Medical Council.
• Finnovate will verify the licence against the NMC or the relevant State Medical Council database before activating your account.
• Pending verification, account access is limited.

Impersonation & False Claims:

• Creating an account with someone else’s licence, a suspended licence, or falsified documents is strictly prohibited and may constitute a criminal offence.
• Finnovate reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account, withhold certificates, and report suspected impersonation to the NMC, law-enforcement, or other authorities.
• You agree to indemnify Finnovate for any loss, cost, or liability (including legal fees) arising from false representations you make.

3. Registration & Account Security

You will need to provide your Name, Mobile Number, Email, Doctor Registration Number, and State Medical Council when signing up.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (user ID and password) and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately.

4. Paid Courses and Pricing

Course Fees:

• Certain courses, workshops, or live events carry a fee (“Paid Courses”). Prices appear on the course checkout page and are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR), exclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment via the payment methods shown.

Taxes: GST and any other statutory taxes are additional and will be shown on the invoice.

Receipts & Invoices: An electronic tax invoice will be emailed to the address on file after successful payment.

Refunds & Cancellations:

• Digital courses: no refund once course material has been accessed.
• Live webinars/events: you may cancel up to 48 hours before the start time for a 100% refund; thereafter fees are non-refundable.
• If Finnovate cancels or reschedules a Paid Course, you may opt for a full refund or free transfer to a new date.

Change of Prices: Finnovate may modify course prices or introduce subscription plans. Price changes apply prospectively and will not affect payments already made.

5. Use of Services

You agree to use the Website and Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to engage in any activity that could:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Impair the functionality or security of the Website.
• Access or attempt to access any content or services through methods other than the provided interface.
• Share or distribute materials from the Website for commercial purposes without our prior consent.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including text, images, videos, podcasts, courses, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws and is owned by Finnovate or its licensors. You may download materials for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any of the content without prior written consent from Finnovate.

In no event, shall Finnovate or its affiliates be held liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages of any nature whatsoever, for any decision made or action taken in reliance upon the Services and Information.

11. Force Majeure

Finnovate will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is due to a Force Majeure event, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, acts of government, or disruptions in communications or technology.

12. Termination

Finnovate reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website and Services at any time, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Changes to Terms, Services or Fees

Finnovate reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the “Effective Date” will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Website or Services after the changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
